
ACE BROADCASTER ROCKYFELLA OF AKBC HONOURED.
The clan head of Okon-Eket, Obong Ekpoton Akpabio Inyang the 1V, has conffered an honouray chieftaincy title of Obonguwana Okon on an ace broadcaster with the Akwa Ibom broadcasting corporation, Mr Essiet Nsudoh also known as Rockyfella.

Obong Ekpoton Inyang led his chiefs in council to honour Mr Nsudoh at his palace at Ikot Obioro, Okon-Eket.
In his speech the clan head said he found Mr Essiet Nsudoh worthy of the honour based on his amazing, innovative style of broadcasting. His ability to bring on live musicians, sports people, academics and people in different fields of endeavor from across the world to his radio programme.
Obong Ekpoton noted with pleasant surprise hearing great icons like Jimmy Cliff, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Usain Bolt, Bongos Ikwue and many others on Essiet Nsudoh’s programme afternoon ride in a live conversation.
According to the Monarch he had observed with keen interest how Nsudoh conducted himself since his days as a secondary school student.That Nsudoh would always have a voluminous novel in his hand and would be going all alone which made him wonder what the young man had ahead of him.
He said Nsudoh has not only made Eket, Akwa Ibom and Nigeria proud but everyone around the world who listens to him.
Before now Essiet Nsudoh has been recognized by the management of Akwa Ibom broadcasting corporation as best radio presenter, the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) commended him for professionalism.
Universal Peace Federation with headquarters in New York made him their Ambassador for peace, Akwa Ibom reconciles celebrated him as Eket Senatorial District living legend, Akwa Ibom State government recognized him as one of one hundred most outstanding people in their chosen fields.
The government of Jamaica invited him to Jamaica and honoured him with a visa waiver where he represented Nigeria at a Global Reggae Symposium.
Dr Peter Umanah, PhD, has written a book about Essiet Nsudoh “The Millennial Broadcaster” which chronicles Nsudoh’s journey in broadcasting.
A native of Ede-Udua, Eket, the man also known as Rockyfella has won more than fifty awards and has interviewed well over 2000 world renowned celebrities.
In his response,Nsudoh thanked the clan head and his council of chiefs for appreciating his talent and promised to do much more as the Obonguwana chieftaincy title is one of the highest recognitions he has had.
