Wise starred in the independent romantic comedy film How to Tell You’re a Douchebag in 2016 which premiered at Sundance Film Festival. In 2017, she starred opposite Sanaa Lathan in the Fox miniseries Shots Fires and had a recurring role in the WGN period drama series Underground.
