Who Is Elliot Page?
Elliot Page is a Canadian actor and producer, he became famous for his character in the film and television series Pit Pony. He has also been nominated for different awards including Young Artist, a recurring role in Trailer Park Boys in 2002, and ReGenesis 2004. In addition, he has also received recognition for his role in the film Hard Candy in 2005 and won an Austin Film Critics Association Award.
Career
She began his career in 1997, while at the age of 10 after he landed a role as Maggie Maclean in the CBC television movie Pit Pony, and later a series of the same name. As a result of his good work in the series, he was nominated for a Young Artist Award. Page made his film debut in 2002, playing Joanie in Marion Bridge, which was also his first. In the same year, he was cast in the recurring role of Treena Lahey in the television series Trailer Park Boys, in which he appeared for five seasons.
In 2003, he landed a role in films called Touch and Go and Love That Boy. Furthermore, he was also featured in some television series such as Homeless to Harvard: The Liz Murray Story and Ghost Cat still in 2003. For his role in the Ghost Cat, he received a Gemini Award for the Best Performance in a Children’s or Youth Program or Series. After that, he was featured in the drama Wilby Wonderfull in 2004. More in 2005 he received recognition for his role in the movie Hard Candy, where he was playing Hayle Stark. The movie was a commercial success and he received praises from USA Today for his role. In 2007, he landed a leading role in a comedy-drama called Juno which was his biggest breakthrough. The film was well received and it was a success considered to be one of the best of the 2000s and he was highly praised for his role. As a result of his performance, he was nominated for several awards including Academy Award for Best Actress, a BAFTA Award for Best Actress, a Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actress, a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress, and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance. The page also won different awards including the Canadian Comedy Award, an Independent Spirit Award, and a Satellite Award.
Page co-starred in the comedy-drama film Smart People in 2008, which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in January of that year and earned mixed reviews from critics. After that, on March 1 2008 he hosted Saturday Night Live. 2009 he starred in the Whip It which was premiered at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival and it had a huge release on October 2, 2009.
2010, he started appearing in series of advertisements for Cisco Systems. In April Michael Lander’s film, Peacock was released featuring Page as Maggie Bailey. Back in August 2009, he was cast in a big-budget Christopher Nolan thriller Inception, the film was released on July 16, 2010, and it was a commercial success. Page together with other casts got a nomination from the Satun Awards and the MTV Awards. Still, in the same year, he was featured in a film titled Super, he accepted the role in the film after seeing the script.-

In 2011, it was confirmed that he will co-star as Monica in the film To Rome with Love, which was released in 2012. Additionally, he was also featured in me by the Quantic Dreams which was titled Beyond: Two Souls where she played as one of the protagonists and it was released on October 8, 2013.
