Evangeline Lilly is a famous Canadian actress and author. She received praise for her first leading play as Kate Austen in the ABC series Lost ( 2004-2010). The series earned her a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series and won her a Screen Actors Guild Award. She starred as Connie James in the Academy Award and won the war film The Hurt Locker in 2008. Later in 2011, she acted in the Real Steel movie.

As she was passing time in Kelowna British Columbia Lilly began her acting career after she was discovered by a Ford Modelling Agency agent. Evangeline did not continue in action immediately after taking the agent number. However, when she called the agency, she was given several roles in commercials and non-speaking parts of the TV shows Smallville and Kingdom Hospital. Lilly also appeared on a video game news and review show on the gaming television channel G4TV.
Evangeline’s friend encouraged her to have a hearing for the lost ABC loss which she did not expect to be launched. The auditing casts were not supposed to see the full screen but only read short scenes and know the basic premise of people surviving a plane crash on a tropical island. This reminded Evangeline of The Blue Lagoon where she thought The Lost would not have been a good television show.

Evangeline Lilly Publishing of the book ‘The Squickerwonkers’
On 18 July 2013, she debuted the book. It was called The Squickerwonkers. The publishing event was held at San Diego Comiccon, where she participated in a book that sign works and provides a reading performance. Evangeline said the idea of the book arrived for the first time at the age of 14. The preface to the book was written by director Peter Jackson She described the work as “a series of graphic books designed for children”, stating that the book is about a young girl who joins a group of characters she described as “this family, the Squickerwonkers, and they’re weird outcasts who all have very specific vices”. Lilly said future books will each reveal a new Squickerwonker character and a unique vice which will eventually become the character’s bane.
The book’s illustrator is Johnny Fraser Alleof Weta Workshop, a New Zealand-based concept design company that has worked on films including The Hobbit. Lilly said the goal was to “make a book that we would like to have read like children and that we always appreciate adults today” Titan Books released the first title and the limited execution book The Squiberwonkers: Sketchbook of Hartist (2016).
