Who is James Spader?
James Spader ( James Todd Spader) is an American producer and actor. In addition, he had roles in films such as the drama Sex, and Videotape in 1989, where he portrayed the eccentric character. The 1980s
James got his first major film role in his acting career in the film Endless Love in 1981. After that, he got his first starring role in the film Tuff Turf in 1985. James rose to fame in 1986, following a role he played as the rich, arrogant playboy Steff in Pretty in Pink. Furthermore, he also co-starred in Mannequin in 1987.
Still, in the same year, he also co-starred in the film adaptation of Less Than Zero where he had a role as a drug dealer named Rip. Still, in 1987 he had a supporting role in films such as Baby Boom and Wall Street. He reprised his character from The Practice (2002) a role he played until 2008. “I was informed that no one would ever accept James Spader into their living room,” longtime writer-producer David E. Kelley remarked of the pushback when he originally sought to cast Spader in the part.
