Ken Jeong is an American comedian, actor, and physician. He is known for his play Leslie Chow in The Hangover film. From 2009 to 2013 Jeong played Ben Chang in the NBC series Community. Ken is the producer the Dr. Ken an ABC sitcom in which he portrays the titular character. He is also a cast in various films like Knocked Up, Role Models, Furry Vengeance, The Duff, Ride Along 2, Crazy Rich Asians, and Tom and Jerry.
Ken is a licensed physician in California though he stopped exercising to pursue his acting career. He was a speaker on the
American version of the singing competition shows The Masked Singer. He is also the host of I Can See Your Voice which is an American music game show.

Ken Jeong Career
His background in theater and improv began while he was a medical student in North Carolina. Ken performed at open mic nights and in comedy clubs. He was the master of ceremony during The Comedy Spot programming series on Duke University campus 1992 and 1993 where Margaret Cho, Jeff Dunham, and other comedians performed.
Ken completed his postgraduate training in internal medicine at the Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. He won the Big Easy while still in residency.

In 1998 Ken moved to Los Angeles where he practiced medicine as a physician of internal medicine at a Kaiser Permanente hospital in Woodland Hills. He started performing at The Improv and Laugh Factory comedy clubs. As a result, he appeared in various television series like NBC’s The Office, FOX’s MADtv, HBO’s Entourage, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
He appeared in the Knocked Up film which was produced and directed by Judd Apatow. Soon after he stopped exercising medicine and focused on his passion for acting in 2006. However, he still maintains his medical license and gives help in medical emergencies.
