A Career from 2006 to 2008

She got selected to play the lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s television drama, Kasamh Se in 2006. Next, she was cast as Bani opposite TV actor Ram Kapoor. Thus this became her acting debut through which the show won her several awards including the Indian Telly Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role. On September 7, 2007, she entered Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the Indian version of BBC Strictly Come Dancing with choreographer Deepak Singh. However, she was eliminated on November 10, 2007, but entered the contest again via a wildcard entry and ultimately won the competition. For this reason, she was awarded the Dancing Star of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She has made appearances in two episodes of the Star Plus television series Ksauti Zindagi Ki in a cameo. She portrayed a student at Prerna’s school.

A Career from 2008 to 2016

In 2008, she made the transition to the film industry. Where her first film was Rock On!! (2008), directed by Abhishek Kapoor, where she played the wife of Farhan Akhtar. A Career from 2017 to Present

After almost 4 years, she returned to the silver screen with the Zee 5 film ‘Silence…Can You Hear It? released on March 26, 2021, also starring Arjun Mathur, Barkha Singh, Manoj Bajpai, Sahil Vaid, and Vaquar Sheikh. She went on to perform in a music video, Rihaahe with Mr.World 2016 Rohit Khandelwal which was released on June 22, 2021. Next, she will be seen in the Hindi film Forensic, a remake of a Malayalam film co-starring Vikrant Massey and Radhika Apte.
