Who is Stephen Baldwin?

Stephen Andrew Baldwin is a well-known American actor, producer, and director. He has played in the movies Born on the Fourth of July (1989), Posse (1993), 8 seconds (1994), Threesome (1994). As well as The Usual Suspects (1995), Bio-Dome (1996) and The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas (2000). Baldwin has also starred in the television collections The Young Riders (1989-92) and also as himself in the reality shows Celebrity Big Brother 7 (UK) and Celebrity Apprentice. He directed Livin’ it, a Christian-themed skateboarding DVD in 2004. Stephen is the youngest among the four Baldwin brothers.

Baldwin started acting on television and made his movie debut in The Beast. He played in the western television collections The Young Riders and Threesome (1994). Stephen landed a breakout role in The Usual Suspects (19950 and portrayed Barney Rubble in The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas (2000). He participated in Celebrity Mole Hawaii, the initial edition of The Mole in 2002, and ABC broadcast the show in early 2003. Later the same year, Baldwin came back for Celebrity Mole Yucatan, which ABC aired in early 2004. He played a villainous thug in the television film Jesse Stone: Night Passage in 2006.

Stephen returned to the TV when CMT cast him in Ty Murray’s Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge, one of nine celebrities cast in August 2007. In the first episode, he was injured in a bad fall from a wooden pontoon, breaking his shoulder blade and cracking a rib. He departed from the show in the second episode, under doctor’s orders. Stephen appeared on Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice on NBC, from January to March 2008. Out of the 14 celebrity contestants, he completed fifth. He became friends with Trace Adkins while competing on the show, and in October 2008, he appeared in Adkin’s music video, ”Muddy Water”.

Baldwin came back to compete in All-Star Celebrity Apprentice in March 2013 and was a contestant on the 2009 NBC reality show, I’m a Celebrity…Get Me out of Here!. He quit the show mid-season, and on the second episode, Stephen baptized The Hills actor Spencer Pratt. Baldwin starred in a Filipino movie, Kaibigan in 2019.

Baldwin is a Catholic Christian by faith since childhood and has written a book named The Unusual Suspect. The book highlights details from his personal life, career, days of drug abuse, and his turn to becoming a born-again Evangelical after the September 11 attacks in 2001. He founded Breakthrough Ministry alongside Mario D’Ortenzio and Bobby Brewer. It was designed to use extreme sports as a ministry via arena tours, known as AsSalt Tours.

Later in 2008, he formed a for-profit organization named Antioch Ministry, which exists to facilitate the gifts and calling of Stephen Baldwin. Baldwin has campaigned against an adult bookstore opening in Nyack in 2006. He also has a tattoo of the initials ”HM” for Hannah Montana. Baldwin got the tattoo following a pact with Miley Cyrus so that he was allowed to cameo on the show.
