RAMADAN – REVELATION FROM ALMIGHTY GOD, ALLAH, JEHOVAH.
Ramadan – sacred divine revelation from Almighty GOD, ALLAH, JEHOVAH by Angel Gabriel (Jubril in Arabic) to Holy Prophet Muhammed (PBH). Muslims believe Almighty GOD, ALLAH, JEHOVAH began revealing the Holy Quran through Angel Gabriel (Jubril in Arabic) to Holy Prophet Muhammed (PBH) during the Holy month of Ramadan more than 1,400 years ago.
Ramadan – The Sacred Month of Ramadan, the holiest month of the Islamic calendar. It is a month of fasting, prayer, and community (Ummah in Arabic) of service for Muslims all over the world in Unison.
Ramadan is about self-discipline, unity, and gratitude. Ramadan also encourages you to look within and work on yourself while at the same time giving back to the people in need.
Ramadan is a period of fasting and spiritual growth for Muslims all over the world and it is one of the “five pillars of Islam” (2) The declaration of faith, (3) daily prayers (4) alms-giving (Zakat in Arabic, Charity in English) – (5) Pilgrimage to Mecca
Muslims all over the world are expected to abstain from eating, drinking, etc from dawn to dusk each day of the Holy month of Ramadan.
All those who are physically limited (old age or illness) are exempt from fast obligations.
During the Holy month of Ramadam for fasting, women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, (nursing mothers), or menstruating are exempt. Anyone taking medications (male or female) is also exempt. Those who are traveling and also children are exempt.
Ramadan is not about starvation – it is about strengthening your spirituality and closeness to Almighty GOD, ALLAH, JEHOVAH. Fasting during the Holy month of Ramadan is not meant for punishment or to torture those observing it. instead, Ramadan is a very spiritual and comforting time for Muslims all over the world.
A time full of blessing, charity, self-reflection, gratitude, and community. It is also a time to practice patience, self-control, and discipline, also a time to feel (empathize) with the less fortunate.
Those unable to fast at all, if they are financially able, are expected to provide meals (food) to the needy as an alternative course of action to the fast.
In the Holy month of Ramadan – Muslims all over the world are encouraged to refrain from fighting, cursing, gossiping, or road rage throughout the Holy month of Ramadan.
During Ramadan, workers are expected to work shorter work hours. Mosques and charities set up outdoor banquets where the poor can eat free each night of Ramadan.

This year’s Ramadan has coincided with Judaism’s “Passover” and Christian “Lent”/Easter.
Throughout the month of Ramadan, 1.9 billion (almost 2 billion) of Muslims around the world will refrain from eating or drinking – even the tiniest sip of water from dawn to dusk. All Muslims will strictly observe prayers, read and study the Holy Quran (not just recite only) and donate to charity and seek the kingdom of Almighty GOD, ALLAH, JEHOVAH first (sounds familiar?) and seek to draw closer to Almighty GOD, ALLAH, JEHOVAH.
“Ramadan Mubarak” and “Ramadan Kareem” are common greetings exchanged during Ramadan, wishing the recipient a blessed and generous month of Ramadan respectively.
The end of Ramadan marks the beginning of one of two major Islamic holidays – Eid Al Fitr (a 3-day holiday). The festival of the breaking of the fast. – on this day (Eid Al Fitr) Muslims all over the world attend a religious service in the mosque, visit relatives and friends and exchange gifts. Ramadan’s Eid Al Fitr is as important to Muslims as Christmas is important to Christians. Muslims believe in only one Almighty GOD, ALLAH, JEHOVAH.
